Baking during the festive celebration is very traditional in my house. All the family will be at home and help to put it altogether. We make kuih semperit together; sifting flour into large bowl, cracking eggs, and beating the wet floury mixture into a sticky pulp. A good topping can always remind you of a great cake. Up until today, we still rely on the savour to remind us of those family moments.
